1500 Avios, 1000 Miles & More or 1000 Virgin miles for £10 duty free spend

I have posted before about interesting sign-up bonuses for the BAA WorldPoints loyalty scheme.
It rewards you for spending in the duty free shops at BAA’s airports (Heathrow, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Stansted, Southampton) as well as changing money, paying for car parking or buying Heathrow Express tickets.
I have just been emailed with the most generous sign-up deal I have ever seen. Join via this link (EDIT: removed as dead) and you will receive 1,000 bonus WorldPoints when you spend a paltry £10 before 30th September. You need to sign up by 31st August.
1000 WorldPoints gets you a £10 airport shopping voucher, 1200 Avios, 1500 BMI Diamond Club miles (which you can convert to 1500 Avios), 1000 Miles & More miles or 1000 Virgin Flying Club miles.
For a promotion this good, it is worth signing up other family members if they are not already a member (or yourself again, using a different address and email). This only really works if you share a household Avios account with these people, though, as WorldPoints will only transfer points into a mileage account sharing the same name.
(If you have a BMI Diamond Club account, of course, you could open a WorldPoints account in any name, form a Diamond Club family account with yourself as head of the family, create a Diamond Club account for that new person, move the WorldPoints across and then move them to your BAEC account via ‘Combine My Avios’!)
It is worth remembering that there have been two 100% bonus promotions in the last year for transfer from WorldPoints to Avios so your sign-up bonus could end up being worth 2,400 Avios points if you hold on for the next bonus.
PS. Here is an interesting idea. You can now collect WorldPoints when booking Heathrow Express train tickets online. I am guessing that this would count towards the £10 spend. Assuming the points post at the time of purchase rather than time of travel, and I am not certain of this, this would be a way of making the £10 spend if you are not going near an airport before 30th September. Heathrow Express tickets can be booked many months in advance.
