Maximise your Avios, air miles and hotel points

150-250 Clubcard points (360-600 Avios) for DVD and Blu-Ray pre-orders is back

Tesco Direct has relaunched its special offer on DVD and Blu-Ray pre-orders.  The titles available include Skyfall, below.

Order any of the titles shown on this page and you will receive 150 bonus Clubcard points per title for a DVD and 250 points for a Blu-Ray.  The cheapest DVD at the time of writing is £8.97, the cheapest Blu-Ray £14.99.

If the price falls between now and the day of release, you will be refunded any difference.

You should also see if code TD-KFPW is still working, which was offering £5 off when you spend over £25 or more at Tesco Entertainment.

Sometimes it is possible to pick up bargains via this promotion and resell the DVD’s on eBay or via a store like CEX to get back almost all of your money.  However, I am totally the wrong person to advise you on which titles would work best for that.  Selling DVD’s via eBay has got less lucrative since the Post Office brought in their ‘large letter’ rate which pushes up pricing for fatter envelopes.

Thanks Raffles. I was looking to get the Skyfall blu-ray anyway so 250 points is the perfect reason to pre-order!

  • Raffles says:

Yes, this remains a decent deal. I am doing a round-up of ‘old but still running’ Tesco deals on Monday.
