Earning almost 50,000 Avios with a new kitchen!

200 bonus Clubcard points when you buy Monopoly

A rather obscure offer, admittedly!  See here – you earn 200 bonus points, plus 14 base points, when you spend £14.97 on a special edition of Monopoly at Tesco Direct.

Clarification of the Avios from Clubcard from TopCashback rules

Further to my TopCashback introductory articles last week, it has now been confirmed that the ‘£50 maximum transfer to Clubcard per year‘ is NOT based on a calendar year. It is based on the anniversary of your first transfer of cashback to Clubcard.

This means that you should make your first transfer to Clubcard as soon as you can, even if it just a couple of pence from a Kelkoo search, as it brings forward the date when your year re-sets and you can do your next chunk of £50.

TopCashback on AwardWallet

If you use AwardWallet to keep track of your miles and points (see here for an article explaining how to use AwardWallet to track your miles) it is worth noting that you can also use it to track your TopCashback cashback.  Note that it displays the ‘Pending’ figure rather than the figure that is actually available to withdraw.

Accor ‘Happy Mondays’ promotion still running

If you ever book a hotel room at short notice for the coming weekend, it is worth remembering the Accor ‘Happy Mondays’ promotion.  I got an email about this yesterday so it is still running.  Basically, they open up a lot of rooms across the UK at discounted prices every Monday, for stays the following weekend.  I wrote about Accor ‘Happy Mondays’ here back in January.
