Last chance to launder 3V cards via Royal Mint coin purchases

I ran a couple of articles recently (here and here) on buying coins from the Royal Mint at face value.

Whilst this sounds slightly crazy, it allows you to ‘manufacture’ credit card spending to meet a sign-up bonus target, or to use up a 3V Virtual Visa card.

The Royal Mint website has announced that June 30th will be the last day to order their Olympic coins.  The 50p and £5 coins – which are currently being sold at 50p and £5 each! – will then be withdrawn from sale.

Not completely sure why you’d choose to pay with a 3V card as The Royal Mint accept Amex cards anyway.

Free delivery is still available using an alternative code.
    I’ll give you a clue…it begins with a P and ends with a LAFP5

I had no problem using the original code at the head of this post HT7WEB worked fine for me!

Does anyone know if the Royal Mint cancel multiple orders that are made to get round the 4 of each coin limit?

I don’t think they do. I have 4 orders at the minute and finally money has been taken from my card (it has been weeks since I made the order). I expect 50p’s coming my way very soon 🙂

Olympics coins now withdrawn from the Royal Mint website, a little early!
