New British Airways promotional code for £100 off a Club Europe flight

Links on Head for Points may support the site by paying a commission.  See here for all partner links.

British Airways has teamed up with Hilton HHonors, for some reason, to offer a special £100 discount on Club Europe flights this Autumn.

You don’t need to be a Hilton HHonors member to take part.

Hilton

The deal is very simple.  Simply use British Airways discount code HILTON0913ZH during the booking process.

Here is a summary of the terms and conditions:

You must book on or before 27th September, on ba.com

Your outbound flight must be before 31st March 2014

You must book a return flight with both legs in Club Europe

The fare before discount must be at least £350 per person

The discount is valid for up to 9 people per booking

Not valid on CityFlyer (London City flights), codeshares, domestic flights etc

Travel must start and end in the UK

Code does not work on ‘flight and hotel’ or ‘flight and car’ packages

You can also book by phone on 0844 493 0 787.  If you are looking at a ticket priced between £251 and £350 which does not qualify for the discount, it is possible that – if you call – they can book one leg into a more expensive category of ticket (still Club Europe, but a different fare level).

This could tip you over the £350 level and thus make your ticket cheaper than it would be otherwise.

Generous of them I thought! 😀

  • olybeast says:

Who would pay for CE is beyond me lol

    • Will says:

Those needing tier points or wanting lounge access on European flights

    • Rob says:

With the £100 discount, it won’t be far off the Economy price (assuming a Saturday night stay is included).

80 tier points, extra Avios, empty middle seat, champagne, possibly (or not) some OK food, lounge access … it all adds up.

      • Alan says:

Yes, although I keep comparing it to 9k Avios and £35 RFS – as BA Gold the availability in economy is excellent and I get lounge access so would rarely pick CE…

    • DV says:

The difference between full fare J and full fare Y is often as little as £30, which is worth it for CE.

  • Neil says:

Damn it! Was just looking at a flight that is listed as £175 each way but when I actually select the segments and go to the next screen, the price miraculously goes down to £348.50 or similar! If I was a cynic…

Presumably the £5 telephone booking fee would not count towards the total for the discount?

    • Alan says:

I’m not sure if the telephone booking fee counts or not, but over the phone they might be able to move one sector into a slightly higher fare class and this get it just over the limit for you?

  • Zoe says:

Thanks to a heads up on here we managed to book 2 returns from Gatwick to Alicante for 5 nights during May half term 2013 including car hire for a total of £304 all in. Less than economy seats on the same flight, it was when there were great prices including hotels. Well worth every penny!

  • Volker says:

“You can also book by phone on 0844 493 0 787.”

This is a premium number. According to saynoto0870.com (one of my favourite websites), you can lower your phone costs by dialling the “ordinary” landline number 0191 490 7900 instead. Many hotels nowadays have got those premium numbers, too, so I always check for an alternative (landline) phone number before making a call.

  • franknotes says:

Just used this. LGW-ALC for a week at the end of March – will probably get the train and check out Dénia. Thanks Raffles and co.
