Maximise your Avios, air miles and hotel points

Did you play the Tesco ‘My Kitchen’ game a few weeks ago?

On September 1st, I wrote about the Tesco ‘My Kitchen’ promotion, running exclusively on Facebook.

The original post is here.

They were giving away 2,000 prizes of 500 points.  And, as I wrote originally:

It all sounds a little odd to me!  However, one thing is clear – 1 million Clubcard points is a lot of points.  And, as this is a new scheme, there are unlikely to be that many people involved at the beginning.  Your odds of picking up a prize should not be too bad – there are 2,000 prizes of 500 points.

And, lo and behold, 500 Clubcard points posted for me yesterday.  If you took part in this game, have a look at your Clubcard account – you may have a little present waiting for you.

The game is still running, so if you haven’t visited the site yet you still can.  Even those who have already won should pop back to try to pick up another 500 points next quarter.

    Thanks Rob…

I noticed my Scooby Doo DVD points are missing though!

  • scroogemcduck says:

I’ve won 500 points! Thanks Raffles for the tip! Looking at my clubcard statement, has anyone else noticed that when ordering the £3 DVD on preorder, Tesco list it as a £153 transaction for 153 points? Same with another transaction where I got 1000 points, they change the value of the transaction to represent it as £1 = 1 point. Makes me look like a massive spender with Tesco, might get some nice offers!

Luckily I left 900 point space , else this 500 would have taken me over 30k!

  • Stephen says:

Thanks, I was wondering where these 500 points came from. Where do you see My Kitchen on your statement?

  • Morgs says:

    Thanks

  • Maria S says:

  • Gristy says:
