Hilton launches a new ‘flash sale’ – 4 days to book

Links on Head for Points may support the site by paying a commission.  See here for all partner links.

Following the apparent success of its original ‘flash sale’ back in early October, Hilton is running another ‘flash sale’.  You have until midnight Thursday to book.

It offers up to 33% off standard rates at weekends until 31st January, at properties across the UK, Europe and Middle East.  ‘Weekends’ in this case are Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights for European properties.

It covers all of the Hilton brands.  As well as Hilton, there are also savings on Conrad, Hampton by Hilton, Doubletree and Waldorf-Astoria properties.  The discount offered will range from 15% to 33%, depending on the hotel.

You can take a look and book here (EDIT – link removed as now dead).  The Hilton in Venice is pictured above.

I had a look at a couple of random properties and the discounts do seem OK.  Hilton Dubai Jumeirah Beach, for example, is Dh 636 on 19th December.  The cheapest ‘advanced purchase’ rate available for the same day is Dh 807.

Here are the full details:

Offer is subject to availability at participating hotels within the Hilton Worldwide portfolio of brands in the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa. Book between November 8, 2013 and November 14, 2013.  Stay on weekends between November 15, 2013 and January 31 2014 except as otherwise indicated. For purposes of this offer, “weekend” is defined as Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights in Europe and Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights in Middle East & Africa.  Full non-refundable prepayment required at time of booking. Discounts vary by property and range from 15% to 33% off the easy cancellation rate and the easy cancellation Bed & Breakfast rate. Other blackout dates may apply based upon which day of the week a stay is consumed, geographical location of hotel and/or by brand.  Additional restrictions apply. Before booking, please click here to see full offer terms and conditions.

If you book for a weekend stay before 16th December, you will also be able to combine this promotion with the current Avios offer.  The bonus is per night and is on top of the 500 Avios would earn in British Airways Executive Club anyway.

You MUST register via the link above to receive the bonus.  You also need to set your Hilton HHonors account to ‘points and fixed miles’ or ‘points and variable miles’ and select British Airways as your preferred airline partner.

Hilton in the Seychelles are included in this deal. Question is whether £170 per night plus 95euros transfer to the private island (!!) is worth it?! Is there any discount code or loyalty point stacking for Hitlton? It’s not IHG so I’dbe starting from scratch. Any ideas gratefully received.

There is usually a Fast Track to Gold offer knocking around, or similar …. best bet is to visit loyaltylobby.com and click on the Hilton category to see all the Hilton pieces from recent months. That site is fully comprehensive.

Excited to see this, but its only circa -20% off in Singapore, December. In my view, better value by far are the cash&points deals if you see them. There used to be a public sector rate kicking around which some people might choose.

  • Andrew (@andrewseftel) says:

I found that some properties weren’t included in the list but did have the offer available, so it’s still worth having a look for rates even if your desired hotel isn’t on that page.

  • Tony says:

Some London properties are available on Thursday nights, too….

  • Scott says:

Nothing in Berlin when I’m there mid-December so booked an IHG hotel instead for the Big Win promo.
Could have done with something in Asia as I’m there next month.

  • Jordan D says:

Just checking- as a HHonors Gold, if I book the Flash Sale rates, do I get my usual benefits (e.g. free breakfast) with the properties?

    • Alan says:

Yep there’s no issue with receiving the benefits on these stays (or indeed any booked through a Hilton family website)
