Just a quick heads up that registration is now open for Starwood‘s ‘Bring on the Nights’ promotion.

I wrote about the promotion here.  If you think you may be staying in a Sheraton, Westin, W, aloft, Luxury Collection, Le Meridien, St Regis etc hotel in the Spring, you should sign up.

Remember that, whilst the promotion runs until the end of April, you can only register until the end of February.  Regular business travellers should sign up, just in case.

    Slightly off topic Raffles. Do you know how long the Amex 20k Starpoints take to post? My experience with Membership Rewards was that any bonus posted alongside whatever transaction took you over the threshold. This doesn’t seem to have happened with my SPG card despite a 2k spend. Is it common to have to wait?

      No, it should post along the spend that took you over, excluding the £75 card fee in your calculation. However, Amex often sets the cards up wrongly and you need to wait for the manual 3 month review, at which point they will be added. Its a pain but you can’t do much about it, nor can you predict in advance if this will happen.
