Back in November, I wrote about the devaluation announced by Hyatt Gold Passport.

It could have been a lot worse than it is, but that is still no excuse to miss out.

If you were planning to redeem your Hyatt Gold Passport points for a room over the next year, you should seriously consider booking today.  The new, higher rates for a lot of hotels come into effect tomorrow.

Some of the biggest jump apply to the flagship European properties, such as Park Hyatt Zurich which I visited in December.  This is one of the hotels which is moving into the new Category 7 and is jumping from 22,000 points per night to 30,000 points per night.
