Win a business class flight to South Africa via Business Traveller

If you read Head for Points on Saturday, you will know that one of our readers has won 1 million Clubcard points in an Amex competition.  A few other people shared their experiences of winning things via HfP in the comments.

This competition on the Business Traveller website is worth a look, because it will not attract a huge number of entries.  The prize is a return flight in Business Class on South African Airways to Johannesburg.

The link to enter is here.

SAA business class seating is a lot better than you might expect, as you can see here, with fully flat beds.

You can fly up to the end of February 2015.  If you won and wanted to visit Cape Town, remember that you can redeem Avios points for the Comair-operated flights from Johannesburg to Cape Town.

Good luck!

    Until now. LOL

  • Tom H says:

How opportune, I need to go to Cape Town for a wedding in December. In the unlikely event I don’t win the competition, any suggestions for avios J routing to minimise tax? Was thinking via Doha perhaps?

    • Rob says:

Book Frankfurt to Doha as that is only 50k Avios in J rather than 80k from London- and you save on the APD!

  • Janeyferr says:

The comp is already on theprizefinder.com so it will probably have many thousands of entries.

  • Colin MacKinnon says:

    Registration a pain.

    BEWARE:

Gives a green tick when you type in a letter-only password.

After you click send, the error message tells you you have to put in a numbers and letters password – and it sneakily automatically re-ticks the “send me all sorts of guff” boxes!
