Accor launches ‘up to 40% off UK stays’ sale

Accor, parent company of Novotel, Mercure and Ibis amongst other chains, has launched a UK-only Summer Sale.

The home page for the sale is here.

As you can see from the dropdown menu, the sale covers the bulk of the Novotel, Mercure, Ibis and Ibis Styles hotels in the UK.  The discount is theoretically ‘up to 40%’.  As that is based off the flexible rate, the difference between the sale price and normal non-refundable price will be a lot lower.

Here are the rules:

You must be a Le Club Accorhotels member to book (free to join)

Book between June 2nd and September 9th

Stay between July 19th and November 2nd

There is no minimum stay requirement and apparently no requirement to book a certain number of days in advance

A couple of random searches showed that there are genuine deals here.  The Novotel Birmingham was £43.20 for an August date compared to the standard pre-paid rate of £53.20.  It is worth having a look if you are planning some UK stays over the Summer.

I’ve been keeping a close eye on Accors for the past few months. Last night I wanted to check what the price of the Novotel at Southwark Bridge was (NOVOTEL London City South) and I got a price that was just over £120.00. If I use the link you provided Raffles the Price goes UP to over £180 – £210!!! They are Wiley cats old Accors and whilst you sometimes can find a right gem, this is not it IMO.

PS: Love the site by the way.
