Club Carlson is running a 10 day ‘Dream Deals’ sale from June 10th to June 20th.  This will offer discounts of ‘up to’ 40% at 255 Radisson Blu and Park Inn hotels across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Whilst the offer launches to the general public on June 13th, existing Club Carlson members (or anyone who signs up now) can book immediately.

The rates are valid for stays up to 15th September.

Carlson Dream Deals

Full pre-payment is required when booking.  There is no minimum stay.

The Park Inn offers can be found here.

The Radisson Blu offers can be found here.

There do seem to be some genuine deals available although I struggled to find anything approaching 40%.

On Friday 18 July, for example, the Radisson hotel which is directly connected to Stansted Airport is £74.20.  The cheapest standard rate is £81.20.  The Radisson Edwardian Kenilworth in London – on the other hand – is less impressive at £147 vs a standard rate of £150.  As always, check all the options before booking.

How to earn Radisson Rewards points and status from UK credit cards

How to earn Radisson Rewards points and status from UK credit cards (April 2024)

Radisson Rewards does not have a dedicated UK credit card. However, you can earn Radisson Rewards points by converting Membership Rewards points earned from selected UK American Express cards.

These cards earn Membership Rewards points:

Membership Rewards points convert at 1:3 into Radisson Rewards points which is a very attractive rate.  The cards above all earn 1 Membership Rewards point per £1 spent on your card, which converts to 3 Radisson Rewards points.

Even better, holders of The Platinum Card receive free Radisson Rewards Premium status for as long as they hold the card.  It also comes with Hilton Honors Gold, Marriott Bonvoy Gold and MeliaRewards Gold status.  We reviewed American Express Platinum in detail here.

This stacks with the 20k points for a two-night stay offer. Not quite mattress-run territory, but you could definitely ‘buy’ the points at a par valuation of 0.3-0.5p (and obviously get the room as well).

Thank you for this one. I have saved myself bang on 40% on a night at the Radisson Bleu at Dublin Airport. A cheapo way to start my Ex-Dub.

  • Code Blu says:

Thanks Rob. Got a small discount on the Radisson blu Birmingham. Couldn’t find a cheaper rate anywhere else.
