‘Kids Eat Free’ promo at Heathrow over the Summer

Heathrow Airport has teamed up with a selection – and only a selection – of its restaurant operators to offer free meals for children.  The offer runs until the end of August and is also due to reappear during October half term and at Christmas.

In Terminal 5 the only participating outlet is Huxley’s, who are offering for free:

  • Chicken Strips – Grilled strips of chicken breast served with chips and salad
  • Beef Burger – Grilled 100% beef burger in a bun served with chips and salad
  • Sausages – Cumberland or veggie sausages (v) served with mashed potato, peas and gravy
  • Cheesy Beans – Cheese on toast smothered in baked beans with a tomato and cucumber salad on the side

You need to purchase one adult for every free child meal.

The biggest selection of restaurants appears to be in Terminal 3 if you are passing through there.

Nice pic of the kids. I reckon the older one will have mayo on the front of his shirt though 🙂

Sounds like a slow news day….

Having just paid for breakfast at Huxleys, my advice would be ‘avoid’. My bap was stale to the point I couldn’t bite through it and then the kids meals weren’t free because we hadn’t ordered the Classic or Great breakfast. In fairness I should have asked before ordering. Finally, there’s no chance they brought food to our table in under 15 minutes and the breakfast menu on the website is out of date. Will not be rushing back any time soon!
