New American Express statement credit offers launched

Links on Head for Points may support the site by paying a commission.  See here for all partner links.

A batch of new ‘statement credit’ offers appeared on my American Express online account yesterday.

If you have a Gold, Platinum, BA, SPG, Nectar or other Amex-issued Amex card, you should have a look and register for any of those which interest you.  Most have a cap on the number of participants.

You will find the offers on the online statement summary pages down at the bottom.

This is what has appeared across my cards:

Gap – spend £50, get £15 back

25,000 cards only / ends 4 October

House of Fraser – spend £50, get £10 back

25,000 cards only / ends 4 October

TopShop – spend £50, get £15 back

25,000 cards only / ends 5 October

Sunglass Hut – spend £100, get £10 back

No cap / ends 4 October

The Ryanair deal that I mentioned earlier this week is still available (£10 back on any transaction) as well as £10 back with a £60 spend at World Duty Free before 30 September.

Thank you all for your mails and help.
I have tried both suggestions, and seem to work. I am not sure how to add the Cathway number to Finnair without replacing the BA number though. It does not seem to allow me both anyway.

Just replace the BA number, select your seats, then go back and put the BA number back. The seats usually stick.

I bought Topman gift cards at a Topshop store on Saturday afternoon using 2 MBNA-issued Amex and the statement credits have already been showing on my account this evening!

  • Gary says:

Guys what exactly does excluding concessions mean? I think I made a mistake ( again ). Bought sale items directly from website with my Amex card. No sign of £15 credit.

Bought stuff 11/09 so I think I have made a mistake as one of her items was a kate moss design with 2 asterix on description. Is that a concession?

Wife loves new stuff so I guess worst case I can go to store and buy £50 giftcard and get her some more goodies.

    None too bright I admit.

    Any advice?
    G
