Free breakfast isn’t included at ibis hotels although I think ibis styles brand normally includes continental breakfast anyway

  • Max says:

It is worth mentioning that if you already have bookings with Accor that are canellable, check the prices again online. I stay at the Sofitel LHR and LGW pre- and post-flights, often using the Park, Stay and Fly deals.

Yesterday I managed to save £40 on a PS&F booking in December and and £56 on a B&B deal I had already booked in Febrauary. The only difference being these are now non-cancellable bookings.

    Great offer.

  • Max says:

Even better seeing the UK deal extension! I have got a £130 one night stay at the Sofitel LHR (without breakfast) reduced to £90 with breakfast in April.

  • Tony Hughes says:

Do you have to reapply for the Accor Platinum Card every year by the Amex link? I’ve been downgraded to Accor classic despite renewing my Amex Platinum again.

  • David says:

Found some interesting MGallery properties in Venice to combine with the RFS flights I bagged in the recent BA award sale. What benefits do these properties normally give to Accor Platinum members?

  • Kai says:

Hilton and Club Carlson too, IHG to come on 28th.

  • Tony Hughes says:

Mm. I’ve tried reapplying for the Accor Plat card on the Amex site using the “I’m already a member option use my existing number below” but my Accor number listed is incorrect and won’t let me change it. Very strange. If I use the other option to sign up as a new member would I lose my existing points?

    • Fenny says:

Every time I try to log in to the Accor site, as I can’t find my membership number, it asks for my email address and then sends me on an endless loop which doesn’t actually ever tell me my membership number.

    • RIccati says:

When AMEX Plat travel team upgraded status with Accor, the new card number was issued but I understand it was somehow linked to the existing number/account.

  • Dude26 says:

By the way – does anyone know if the promo for 2500 Avios per stay is only for Accor hotels in Europe? or is it around the world…?

    • DrTom says:

Yes, but that promo has been cancelled early again and without any notice (similar to the Aeroplan deal). I have two Accor stays booked for the rest of the year – remains to see if the bonus Avios will post.
