As the British Airways sale ends …. pay just £999 in the KLM Business Class sale

For the last week, British Airways had been selling Club World tickets for £1007 for flights over Christmas.  That sale ended last night.

If you missed out, don’t worry.  Late in the day, KLM has launched its own £999 business class sale.

This sale runs until Monday 8th December so there is still time to get a bargain even though the BA deals have gone.

The £999 destinations are:

Abu Dhabi

Beijing

Cape Town

Chengdu

Dammam

Dubai

Guangzhou

Hangzhou

Johannesburg

Kuwait

Lagos

Rio de Janeiro

Shanghai

Tokyo – which was not in the BA sale

Xiamen

The travel dates are more restrictive than the BA sale:

Book by Monday 8th December

Travel out and back between 21st December and 3rd January

Tickets will also earn miles in the Flying Blue scheme. This is not the most generous frequent flyer scheme out there, but it does have regular redemption sales (for example this one) which can be good value.

Whilst you are booking on the KLM site, you may end up flying either Air France or KLM depending on route and which flight you select. The new Air France business class seat, pictured above, is still rolling out. I ran a few more pictures of it earlier in the year although there is no guarantee that you would get this on any particular flight. You would need to be on a Boeing 777 to even have a chance of getting it. If you fly on a KLM 747 then you should get the new flat seat – it may be more pot luck with a 777.
