  Gutted I missed the economist offer as I could have benefitted x 3. Given that and devaluation, now happy I left Kaligo and Hilton to last moment. Set your sights infinitely more valuable to me now than 6.5 avios. Sorry to guys at Kaligo, hope devaluation does not impact on you too much.

  My additional cardholder AMEX points just hit my account this week. The card had not even been used or activated yet!

    In order to gauge the timeframe, are you able to advise what date did you apply and were approved? Currently have 2 x amex plays in the house and as soon as my wife’s account gets the points, I want to cancel hers.

  The 100 AA points I got for registering with Pointshound landed in my AA account the other day, saw they are on HolidayCheck.com now as well. Not sure it’s worth writing the review for 70 points but it’s another good way to stop your points expiring if nothing else.

  Over 3 weeks since subscribing to the Economist and still no sign of the Avios. Does that timeline sound correct?

    I just signed up & it says it will take 4-6 weeks for Avios to post, though last time it took just a few days.

      I think in early December they were posting very quickly, I applied mid/late December and it took about 4 weeks.

  Anyone had experience with when the bonus 3,000 Avios for Kaligo post? On check-out or booking, ie, not suitable to wait for points for half year until the stay consummated.

  Same question for AAdvantage bonus of 2,000 with Pointshounds. When do they post?

    Kaligo points seem to be posting within 4-5 days of checkout.
