Maximise your Avios, air miles and hotel points

Tesco deals: 360 Avios with a CD, 2400 Avios for £60 LEGO spend, 1200 Avios with a pink iPod

Last week I highlighted a pre-order offer on the new Noel Gallagher CD.  It offered you 100 Clubcard points (240 Avios, 250 Virgin miles) when you bought the £10 CD.

The offer is still available here if you are interested.  It is not a good deal unless you were planning to buy it anyway.  The deal ends on March 8th.

A new CD promotion is a bit more generous.

If you buy ‘The Brits Awards 2015’ CD for £11 before March 8th, you will receive 150 Clubcard points.  That will convert into 360 Avios points or 375 Virgin Flying Club miles.

You can find details here at Tesco Direct.

Again, this is not one to buy purely for the miles.  However, it looks like a decent compilation – it is a 3-disc set – and may make a suitable gift for a relative.  I doubt you could sell them on eBay for enough to make it worthwhile.

A new Lego deal

Bonus Clubcard points turn up on Lego items with surprising regularity and now they are back again.

You will receive 1,000 bonus Clubcard points (2,400 Avios or 2,500 Virgin miles) when you £60 on the plastic brick stuff.

Full details are here at Tesco Direct.  You need to order by March 2nd.

Finally …..

Here is an even odder offer.  500 bonus Clubcard points (1,200 Avios) for buying a pink iPod!  The cheapest is £39.  Full details here.  Order by March 15th.

  • Max says:

No need to spend £60 on LEGO for the bonus points.

    eg.
Spend half to get half the points.
    A spend of £30 on LEGO will give you 500 + 30 = 530 points in total

  • Dean says:

Has anyone tried doing this more than once? or is it restricted to one LEGO purchase per account?
