Some news in brief:

Tesco DVD and Blu-Ray pre-order bonuses are back

Until 22nd March, Tesco Direct is offering 150 bonus Clubcard points with selected DVD and Blu-Ray pre-orders.   That is worth 360 Avios points or 375 Virgin Flying Club miles.

You need to order now – and pay now – and in return you get the bonus points now!  The disk itself will arrive in a few weeks when it is launched.

You can see the list of titles here which includes Paddington and 50 Shades of Grey.  The DVD’s are all £10 and the Blu-Ray disks are £13.

There are also 150 Clubcard points available when you pre-order the Now 90 CD for £13.  The deadline for this one is March 29th.

1,000 Hilton HHonors points for changing your password

After a false start – when the IT failed to live up to requirements – Hilton has now gone live with the offer of 1,000 Hilton HHonors points (worth about £3) for changing the password on your account.

You need to change your password between March 12th and March 24th to get the bonus.

If you changed it before March 12th, you need to change it again!

Full instructions and the link you need to use can be found here.

You will be forced to change your password after April 1st, so you might as well do it now and bank the 1,000 points for getting in early.

American Airlines introduces fully-flat business class seating to Manchester

According to Business Traveller, American Airlines is switching its Manchester to New York service to a Boeing 767 with fully-flat business class beds in a 1-2-1 configuration.  The change will take effect from March 29th and is currently scheduled to last for the full Summer season to late October.

As a partner airline in the oneworld alliance, you can redeem your Avios points for American Airlines flights.  Anyone flying back to Manchester overnight will no longer have to trade off going via London for a fully flat bed or flying direct with a sloping seat.

For the Hilton 1000 points offer you now have until 10th April to change your password – and looks like the forced reset will now be 22nd April.
