There are a lot of offers around at the moment offering bonus Avios points on your hotel stays.  In general, these rely on you turning down hotel loyalty points and asking to receive a one-off Avios bonus instead.

I have already covered three of these deals – click for my articles:

triple Avios with Accor (Novotel, Mercure, Sofitel, Ibis, Pullman etc) until October 31st

triple Avios with Hyatt and Andaz until September 30th

triple Avios with Small Luxury Hotels of the World until September 30th

Here are the other offers.  You can find full details of all of these by visiting the ‘News and Offers’ page of ba.com here.

Fairmont

You will receive 20% off and double Avios on stays at European Fairmont properties (not the North American ones) until 30th October.

This includes The Savoy in London, below, and Fairmont St Andrews.  Full details can be found on the Fairmont website here.

Mandarin Oriental

Until September 30th, 25 Mandarin Oriental hotels are offering double Avios points – 1,600 per stay – when you pay an ‘eligible rate’.  This appears to exclude most promotional deals.

Langham London

The Langham

Until September 30th, you will receive a 10% discount on club rooms and suites and double Avios points, up to 3,000 per stay, at Langham Group properties.

Full details are on The Langham website here.  All properties globally are taking part.

You can see my review of The Langham London, which celebrates its 150th anniversary this year, here.  Langham also generously sponsored a competition on HfP last year.

Shangri La Shard

Shangri-La

Until August 31st, you will receive 1,000 Avios for a two-night stay, 1,500 for a three-night stay and 2,000 for a four-night stay.  This covers not just the Shangri-La brand but also Traders, Kerry and Hotel Jen.

Full details are on the Shangri-La site here.

Radisson Blu Edwardian

The Radisson Blu Edwardian hotels in London, which includes The Mayfair, are offering triple Avios – 1,500 points per stay – on bookings until September 10th.

There is no minimum stay which is interesting, especially at the Heathrow property.  You can find more details here.

Preferred Hotels & Resorts

Finally, hotels in the Preferred Hotels & Resorts consortium are offering double Avios (1,000 per stay) for bookings of two nights or more.  This offer runs until March 2016.

Participating properties are on the Preferred site here.

  • Dynamo says:

Contradictory T’s&C’s for the Radisson offer, says any number of nights as well as: Minimum stay of two nights is required. Assuming it is only one night it doesn’t really make the Heathrow hotel mattress run territory, or am I missing something?

    • Brian says:

1500 Avios would never be enough for a mattress run – I expect the point Raffles is making is that the Heathrow hotel is probably the cheapest of the RBE hotels and so, if you have to spend a night near the airport, it might be a decent choice because of the Avios.

      • Rob says:

Exactly. For a quick cheap airport stay I would be willing to stay anywhere for 1500 Avios if price etc comparable. I would not do a 3 night stay in central London specifically in a Radisson purely for the bonus if the hotel was not the best choice too for price and location.

  • Stuart says:

Does anyone know how status is taken in to account with the Accor triple avios promotion? In the terms and conditions it says the bonus is based on classic status. What does that mean if you have Platinum status?
