Get £10 off £50 Amazon spend today – a good way to use pay.com cards

Links on Head for Points may support the site by paying a commission.  See here for all partner links.

Amazon is running a ‘one day only’ special offer for today, Monday.  You will receive £10 off a £50 spend.

Full details can be found here on the Amazon website – click the banner at the top.

Basically …. you need to spend £50 on items sold directly by Amazon itself.  No Marketplace items, no gift cards, no digital products.

If you have some unused pay.com cards from Tesco, this is an opportunity to use them.

First, go to the Amazon gift card page here and order some e-gift vouchers for yourself.  You are restricted to £25 per voucher, of course, because that is the value of a pay.com card.

Secondly, add the vouchers to your Amazon account balance (there is a link to click in the emailed gift voucher which does this automatically).

Thirdly, make a £50 purchase at amazon.co.uk today (subject to the small print on the offer page), use the discount code BIGTHANKS and save £10.  The payment will be taken from your account credit balance.

Of course, if you don’t have any pay.com cards, you can still use the BIGTHANKS code to save £10 on anything you were planning on buying.

Note that the offer is restricted to 1 x £10 discount per Amazon account.

I was umming and arring on a purchase, and had topped up my Amazon balance with 3V cards – so this has come at a good time. Order placed!

Once you have a giftcard you can add to the balance of it using a Pay.com card, which saves on some of the faff involved.

Excuse my ignorance, but does 25 off 50 require a prime account?

  • James says:

Thanks for the Prime Now tip! It’s so nice to be able to justify my points obsession with saving money elsewhere.
