REMINDER: Exclusive £30 Head for Points sign-up code for HotelTonight

I have written about HotelTonight a few times in the past, and they have generously given away £1,500 of free hotels stays in two competitions on HFP over the last year. I wanted to remind readers about the special discount code which is currently available via Head for Points.
If you haven’t tried their app yet, HotelTonight is offering HFP readers an exclusive £30 sign-up code to use on your first booking.
The minimum spend required is only £70 plus VAT and fees (roughly £85 in total) so you could be saving nearly 40%. That is on top of any saving that HotelTonight is already offering over the list price.
Your booking must be for a hotel in the UK. HotelTonight currently operates in 23 UK towns and cities.
What is HotelTonight?
HotelTonight is an app which allows you to book a carefully curated selection of hotels, at all price points, up to seven days in advance. By restricting itself to seven days advance booking, it can persuade hotels to offer discounted prices because they will know by that point that they will not be full.
The company operates across the UK, Europe, North America and Latin America with over 500 cities currently covered. Morocco and Australia are coming soon. Your £30 sign-up credit is only valid for a UK hotel, however.
How I claim my £30 free credit?
HotelTonight is only available as an app. There is no website through which you can book. Restricting access to deals to registered users is another way that the company can persuade hotels to offer deals through the platform.
To receive your £30 credit, you need to enter the code HEADFORPOINTS on the sign-up page.
IMPORTANT: the £30 will show as a coupon will show on your account under the “Redeem promo code” section. It does NOT show as a £30 credit and your ‘Credit’ total will still show £0.
You have until 31st December to redeem your £30 sign-up credit so there is no rush to use it – but you should download the app ASAP whilst the code is still available.
The £30 credit is only for first-time users of the service and a £70 + VAT minimum spend at a UK hotel is required. You will see the ex-taxes price on the payment page so it is easy to check it is £70 or more.
