Maximise your Avios, air miles and hotel points

Get 240 Avios or 250 Virgin Atlantic miles with a £10 pre-order of Adele’s ’25’

Links on Head for Points may support the site by paying a commission.  See here for all partner links.

It is rare that I dedicate a whole article to one of the Tesco Direct CD pre-order deals these deals, especially as the points offered have been slipping back.

I will make an exception for Adele, however, as this is likely to become the biggest selling album of the year despite only being released at the end of the month.

If you pre-order ’25’ by Adele at Tesco Direct, you will receive 100 bonus Clubcard points.

The link to buy is here.

The current price is £10.  Tesco has a ‘new release price promise’ which may make it cheaper – if competitive action means that Tesco decides to launch it at £9.50 or £9 instead, you will be automatically refunded the difference.

The deadline to pre-order is 19th November via this Tesco webpage.  The launch is the next day, 20th November.

Shop Small is back, between 5 and 20 December. Showing on my Amex card(s) Offers now.

    • mark2 says:

American Express Connect says 2nd Nov to 20th Dec; spend £10 get £5 back!

      • Brian says:

Offers page of my cards is saying 5-20 dec. Somehow, I find it unlikely that the offer would run for so long, so Connect is probably wrong.

      • mark2 says:

but T&C do indeed say 5th Dec

    • Frenske says:

Oh goody … on 5 Dec Sinterklaas is coming to town. Shopsmall is one of my favourite AmEx offers and always make good use of it.

  • Christian says:

Taking up this offer does not make Adele any more enjoyable to listen to

  • James67 says:

OT: not seeing any bonus for either BA, Avios or Virgin in my tesco account.

  • Globetrotter7 says:

I pre- ordered this album yesterday, along with Little Mix’s upcoming album (for my 9 yo daughter) which is offering 200 bonus points.

  • The_Real_A says:

Last year i visted 4 shops that were on the list, and non accepted AMEX. Gave up after that…

    • CV3V says:

Last year I had lunch in a café, come the time to pay the bill they hadn’t accepted amex for a few years = grumpily paid in full. I check for the amex logo in the window ever since.

      • Danny says:

I had this twice last year (both places had displayed the amex logo in the window but said they no longer accepted). I complained to Amex and received ‘goodwill’ statement credits.

  • Brian says:

OT – Qatar has launched its sale. AMS-BKK for £950 return – unfortunately only from Jan 15…

  • oyster says:

I managed over 200 shop small transactions last year. Multiple oyster cards got me around £400 of free travel.
