News in brief:

No more 5% uplift on TopCashback transfers to Tesco Clubcard

An easy way of accumulating Avios points cheaply is to transfer cashback earned from shopping site TopCashback into Tesco Clubcard points.

You can move £50 per year of cashback from TopCashback to Tesco in exchange for 5,000 Clubcard points.  That would get you 12,000 Avios points or 12,500 Virgin Flying Club miles, so you are effectively buying Avios points for 0.4p.

Until last week, you would also receive a 5% uplift when you transferred cashback to Tesco.  £50 became £52.50 of Clubcard vouchers. This deal has now ended.  £50 only gets you 5,000 Clubcard points.

If you are not already a TopCashback member, there will an EXCLUSIVE signing up promotion on Head for Points during the next fortnight.  Do not sign up before then or you will regret it.

How to earn Radisson Rewards points and status from UK credit cards

How to earn Radisson Rewards points and status from UK credit cards (April 2024)

Radisson Rewards does not have a dedicated UK credit card. However, you can earn Radisson Rewards points by converting Membership Rewards points earned from selected UK American Express cards.

These cards earn Membership Rewards points:

Membership Rewards points convert at 1:3 into Radisson Rewards points which is a very attractive rate.  The cards above all earn 1 Membership Rewards point per £1 spent on your card, which converts to 3 Radisson Rewards points.

Even better, holders of The Platinum Card receive free Radisson Rewards Premium status for as long as they hold the card.  It also comes with Hilton Honors Gold, Marriott Bonvoy Gold and MeliaRewards Gold status.  We reviewed American Express Platinum in detail here.
