LAST DAY: Win £300 of hotel stays with HotelTonight – and a discount for all

This is your final reminder that, all this week, Head for Points is running an exciting competition in association with hotel booking app HotelTonight.

Today is your last day to enter.  The cut-off date to register is midnight on Friday.

We have a prize of £300 of hotel credit to be won.  One lucky reader will see £300 of credit deposited into their HotelTonight account.

The prize will be valid for 12 months and can be used at any of their properties in over 1,900 cities.

In addition, every reader – even those who have booked with HotelTonight before – will receive a discount off their next booking.

No purchase is required to enter the competition but you must be a UK resident to win.

What is HotelTonight?

HotelTonight is an app which allows you to book a carefully curated selection of hotels, at all price points, up to seven days in advance. By restricting itself to seven days advance booking, it can persuade hotels to offer discounted prices because they will know by that point that they will not be full.

The company operates in 36 countries with over 1,900 cities currently covered, so you won’t struggle to find somewhere to spend your £300 credit if you win.

HotelTonight is only available as an app. There is no website through which you can book. Restricting access to deals to registered users is another way that the company can persuade hotels to offer deals through the platform.

HotelTonight is currently offering a special deal to all Head for Points readers:

If you are new to HotelTonight, download the app, register and enter code HFP on the ‘Redeem promo code’ page.  You will receive £20 off your first booking of £110 + taxes.  This is valid at ANY hotel globally, not just UK ones, and will work until the end of 2016.

If you have already downloaded the app and registered, enter code HFP2 on the ‘Redeem promo code’ page.  You will receive £15 off any stay of two or more nights with a total cost of £180 + taxes.  The code is valid globally and will last until the end of 2016.

IMPORTANT: the £20 / £15 will show as a coupon on your account under the “Redeem promo code” section. It does NOT show as a credit and your ‘Credit’ total will still show £0.

You have until 31st December to redeem your credit.  However, with Easter approaching, now would be a good time to give HotelTonight a try.

What can you win?

We are giving away ONE prize of £300 HotelTonight credit.

The prize will be valid for 12 months and can be used in any of their properties worldwide.  As you will see from the app, the company operates in a huge number of cities so you won’t have any problems using your credit.

How do I enter?

It is automatic when you enter either of two discount codes above into the HotelTonight app.

New users need to download the HotelTonight app for your iPhone, Android or Windows Phone device and claim your £20 of free credit by using the code HFP.

There is NO requirement to make a booking.

If you have already downloaded the HotelTonight app then open it and use the HFP2 code under ‘Redeem promo code’.  You will then be entered in the draw.

The competition will close at midnight UK time on Friday 18th March. The winner will be picked at random from all valid HT members who enter either the HFP or HFP2 code into the app.

The other rules

The competition is only open to residents of the UK.

Under UK law, I am obliged to make the names of the winners available on request. The joint promoters of the competition are HotelTonight and Head for Points, contact details available on request.

Good luck.

I downloaded this to my iPhone when you published the first article and today to my iPad but it just sits there saying “loading hotels” and nothing ever happens. Feels like this is one offer and service I won’t be participating in

    • Henry says:

I had the same problem – you need to turn on your location services to make it work.

    • Tom says:

I registered and it took my HFP code.. when i click on credits just to see how that app worked it says ‘Sorry Charlie no credits’ – I know there won’t be credits but who the hell is Charlie??? Its clearly registered by me Tom.. hmm (android)

  • Isabel says:

App easily installed but no place to put HFP code!!!

    • Tom says:

If you touch the dots in top right corner under promos it says redeem code.

  • Greenpen says:

As with all booking agents take care! Best Western in Banbury £83 using HotelsTonight for today but £63 on hotels.com

    • flyforfun says:

Yes, but if you use your 20gpb discount code you’re paying the same price. 😉

      • Brian says:

So you might as well go for hotels.com to take advantage of their rewards scheme!

  • Axel Heyst says:

    OT

Expecting some positive update on the Starwood buy out / Ambang deal tomorrow.

  • Paul says:

This service seems pretty hopeless for anywhere major in East Asia. I tried entering Hong Kong, Singapore, KL, Shanghai, Beijing and Tokyo and discovered no hotels in those places as none of the cities are covered. Won’t bother with it again as HotelsCombined is a much better starting point.
