Miles and points offers which are about to close

The key deadline may be 15th April, which is the last day for Amex Platinum cardholders to get free top tier Accor Platinum status.  There is probably (just) time to still apply for Amex Platinum (review), receive the card and activate your Accor status if you get onto it this weekend.

Wednesday 6th April

Last day to register for BA’s ‘double Avios to New York’ promotion and to book your flight, for travel by 30th June.  Article.

Thursday 7th April

Last day to get 10% off an Etihad economy flight from the UK / Ireland.  Article.

Saturday 9th April

Last day to book Easter deals at Radisson Blu and Park Inn UK hotels.  Article.

Sunday 10th April

Last day to register for the Starwood ‘Take Two’ promotion for stays by 30th April.  Article.

Last day to get 480 Avios with an £8 Tesco printer ink you can resell on eBay!  Article.

Friday 15th April

Last day for American Express Platinum cardholders to claim free Accor Platinum status.  Article.

Last day to register for the Marriott MegaBonus promotion for stays by 15th May.  Article.

Last day to save 25% buying Starwood Preferred Guest points.  Article.

    I just got a platinum for my wife. When applying for all the hotel benefits it says do you want them for you plat supplementary cardholder. Can we both get them then. Certainly going to try it!

      Yes, all the hotel cards can be issued both for yourself and your Plat supplementary.

      Yep, benefits applicable to both primary and secondary cardholders!

    Rob would be very thankful if you can answer my query. Thanks to this site I already have Accor Plat expiring in Jul’16. If I take out new Amex Plat (I do have the 20K upgrade from Gold offer) and apply for Accor Plat..will this extend my Accor status beyond Jul’16?
