Free return Heathrow Express ticket when you fly British Airways from Leeds Bradford

We have seen some interesting promotions over the last couple of years to drum up business for the British Airways Leeds Bradford to Heathrow route.

We have had ‘kids fly free’ (up to 3 kids per adult) and 15% discounts off your entire trip.  This Summer, British Airways is offering a free return ticket on Heathrow Express when you fly to Heathrow from Leeds Bradford.

There are no catches.  However cheap (or even free, if using Avios) your British Airways flight, you can collect a return Heathrow Express ticket from the reception desk in the Yorkshire Premier lounge.

You do not need to qualify for lounge access in order to pick up your tickets.

The offer runs until 31st July.

It is interesting to note that the ‘promoter’ of the offer is the airport and not British Airways.  It looks as if the airport is trying to increase passenger numbers on the BA flights in order to keep the route operating.
