British Airways schedule changes for Winter 2016

British Airways has released details of additional schedule changes for the Winter timetable which starts from late October.

Most significant is that the Glasgow to Salzburg service is being dropped.  This ran as an experiment last year but will not now be brought back.  The flight only operated once per week and was due to restart on 10th December.

The other changes are:

Gatwick to Dubrovnik Winter frequency doubled to two flights per week, on Monday and Friday

Gatwick to Bordeaux (photo below) dropped on Sundays, although that will still leave nine flights per week

Gatwick to Valencia operating on different days of the week but retaining four flights per week

If you have booked any of these routes you may want to check your booking.

myGatwick still offering a free coffee from Pret

I noticed this week that myGatwick – the site which offers discounts and promotions for various outlets at Gatwick Airport – is still offering a voucher for a free coffee at Pret A Manger when you sign up.

Other benefits include one hour of free access to the Regus business centre (landside, not airside) which might come in handy if you need to do some work or just grab a free drink.

You can sign up for myGatwick here.
