There are two interesting competitions around at the moment run by major hotel chains. One is hosted by Radisson Blu and the other by Le Club AccorHotels.

Win a trip around the world with Radisson Blu

Radisson Blu is giving away a trip around the world with up to 30 nights in up to 5 different cities.

This is not your usual ‘click to enter and give us your email address’ competition.  You need a bit of knowledge and the ability to write a short essay.

In order to enter the competition, go to this page of the Radisson Blu website and click Play.  You first need to identify five cities (if you’re stuck, ask your friend Google) and if you get all five right, you will be asked to write a short essay about your dream destination.

Your essay will be judged by three judges who give points for creativity, personality and clarity.

You can enter once per day, however you need to write an essay about a different city every time you enter. The competition closes at midnight on 12th October (yes, we were a bit late hearing about this one) and the winner will be notified by 14th November.

Win up to 200,000 points with Le Club AccorHotels

Le Club AccorHotels has launched a series of mini competitions leading up to a big prize draw at the end of this year.

There are new ‘missions’ in the form of mini games every 10 days or so where participants can earn additional chances for the big prize draw of 5 x 200,000 Le Club AccorHotels points.  Participants can also take part in a daily ‘instant win’, regardless of whether they won the mini game, where they can win 10,000 points.

    The Accor comp had been running for two weeks now so people have missed out on the first stage of it. Worth having a go though….and no I’m not the Nick who suggested it!

    The Accor one seems a bit nonsensical. Quite a lot of scorn about it over on FT, mostly because the IT of Accor hardly ever works properly.
