  MORE IMPORTANTLY……. does the 4×2 10,000point promo combine with the 30% off and free breakfast promo they’ve just started ?
  For today only (possibly the 12th too, not sure) both promos are active.

  Whether they combine I don’t know.
  30% off, free breakfast AND 10,000 points sounds nice 🙂

    IME any stay counts so Mondays, 30% off and the Morrisons promotion should all be fine. Where it becomes complicated is in cases like Waribai states where one registers for more than one bonus points promotion. I queried how this works with CS and was told in pracrtice the bonuses do not stack, that we would receive the most beneficial points credit on a stay by stay basis when registering for multiple promotions. However, this may be the theory but I do not believe their systems are sophisticated to apply it properly because there have been times where I have benefited from registering for multiple promotions and times where I have lost out. It seems a bit of a gamble to me, last think we want to do, for example, is inadvertently miss out on the last of the four stays in the current promotion.

    Yes, they will combine (assuming they work like every similar Accor promo in the past – I’ve taken advantage of many of them). The one thing you can’t do is to redeem existing points on a qualifying stay.

  I have 2×2 night stays booked as I needed them anyway. Is it worth booking a further 2 cheap stays to get the full 10000 points?

    If you could book a further 2x2night stays that are of use/value to you costing less than €160 in total then those two stays would effectively be free as you would be gaining more than you spend. With Happy Mondays and other promotions this should be doable easily enough. I’m paying for our weekend in Venice next year using similar promotions (when only 1 night stays were required!) in conjunction with £18/night Ibis stays in Thailand. Particularly happy I held on to the accor points ths long given the falling £.

      Thanks Axel, it wasn’t a mattress run as such, we used Ibis and Novotel as stopover htels on a return kriurely drive from Bangkok to the far South.

    You’ve only got one more chance to book Happy Mondays (today!) but you can currently book for two weekends into the future. So if you booked 2 x 2-night Ibis Happy Mondays outside London, you’d spend £100 (£25 per night) and make an extra 7,000 points, worth about €140. Whether it’s worth the hassle is up to you.

    Though remember that until the end of the year, when the rules change, these points will also count towards status. My own Gold status is highly prized because of the late check-out – and almost invariable upgrades at Novotels – but your priorities may be different of course.

      Thanks, I am currently platinum with accor (mine never changed since I got Amex plat 4 years ago). I will do the maths and see whats available around leeds

      Well, except that you can only redeem in 2,000-point blocks, so my €140 valuation is somewhat notional. If you have no other source of Accor points, then you’d go from having 3,000 but only being able to redeem 2,000 for €40, to having and being able to redeem 10,000 for €200.

      So we’re both right in different ways 🙂

  I checked out of stay 3 of the 10k bonus 4 and stay 1 of the triple miles (after fighting the accor website for hours last night.

  Ill try and report back this afternoon if I see any acount activity but doubt itll post that fast…

  Not quite to do with the 10,000 points promotion, but I had a question on Accor points conversion to Iberia. I have 4200 points, but they only seem to be letting me convert 3000 of those. I see mention in earlier comments of redeeming in blocks, but I can’t see anything on their website in the T&Cs, only about the minimum conversion value. I though I’d try auto conversion as the T&Cs say “Automatic transfer, with no minimum amount, is activated as soon as the member has earned at least 2 Le Club Accorhotels points for a stay at one of the Accor hotels participating in the program.”, but that is the same. Maybe because I am doing the auto convert after the event. Is there something I am missing or a way round this? It’s very frustrating as I’m probably not going to stay with Accor again before my remaining 1200 points expire, so it seems I’m going to loose them. Any suggestions?
