Black Friday is here.

With an overwhelming amount of Black Friday deals, we’ve decided to put all the exciting ones – or at least the ones we were told about – together to save you time when saving money.

We covered the British Airways £1008 Club World deal yesterday – click here for that article.  If Virgin Atlantic is up to anything, they didn’t tell us.

This article focuses on hotel deals, the second article on other travel related ‘stuff’.

Hotels.com

Hotels.com is giving you up to 60% off rooms in Europe. You need to book between  25th and 28th November for travel between 25th November 2016 and 31st March 2017. The deals can be found on this page of the Hotels.com website.

You can save even more by signing up to the Hotels.com newsletter. This link takes you to the Black Friday Mystery Voucher page. Enter your email address and get a 7%, 8%, 10% or even 99%! off voucher to use with your next Hotels.com booking.

Only the first 300,000 people who enter their email address will receive a voucher. Vouchers must be used by 28th November for stays before 1st May.

IHG’s Europe Winter Sale

Ok this one is not a ‘proper’ Black Friday Sale, as this sale has been going on for a few days already, however as we haven’t covered it yet, it deserves a spot in our Black Friday list.  It covers InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, HI Express, Staybridge Suites, Hotel Indigo and other IHG brands.

Book directly via the IHG website before 24 February for stays between 2nd December and 27th February to get up to 30% off rooms.  This offer is exclusive to IHG Rewards Club members but you can sign up for free if you are not already in.

Laterooms.com

Laterooms.com decided to do a Purple Friday instead of Black Friday. As we couldn’t find any other purple deals, they are allowed to appear on our Black Friday list.

The deal is: get up to 30% off hotel stays when booking via this link today.

T&Cs on when to travel are shown on the individual booking pages.

Marriott

Here is a Black Friday offer with a ‘secret’ code.

Book a hotel room via this special Black Friday page on marriott.com between 25th November and 28th November and save 25% with the code 444 (just the numbers)- this code may already be inserted into the booking form for you.

Melia

If you book a Melia Hotels International room in Europe this weekend, you can get up to 50% off your stay.

That’s up to 30% off for all customers and an additional up to 20% off for Melia Rewards members.

You need to book by 29th November and travel before 31st October 2017.

Millennium Hotels

Millennium is giving you 25% off all Millennium and Copthorne hotels in Asia, Europe, Middle East and the US if you book this Black Friday weekend.  As a Millennium member you can even get an additional 10% off and earn triple points with your stay.  The sale ends on (Cyber) Monday.

Hilton Winter Sale

This one is also not a ‘proper’ Black Friday Sale and we have covered it in this article.  However we thought a reminder of Hilton’s winter sale won’t do any harm.

In brief: If you are a Hilton HHonors member, you can save up to 30% on weekend stays until the end of 2017 when booking via the Hilton website before 31st December.

And there’s more …..

Our second Black Friday article – click here – will have deals to save on airport parking, lounge access, currency and more.

  • Brian says:

hotelsclick.com has 15% off on all hotels – generally, these vouchers on such sites exclude the major chains.

  • Matt says:

Rob do you have any control over the ads on your blog?
They are starting to get intrusive e.g. there are two video ads on this page (for me) which autoplay and at least one had the sound on. Embedded videos are especially annoying when on low power machines eg tablets, chromebooks, having the sound on is even worse. I have my adblocker switched off for your site to ensure you get the revenue you deserve for your work, I dont want to have to switch it on.

    • Rob says:

Yes, spotted this. I can deal with that but will be tonight. These are the 2 boxes an ad agency sells for me.

  • Ali says:

    Slightly OT

Anyone know if the Apple Concession in Harrods is doing any deals today?
Would be good to combine with some £30 off £100 offers…

    • jamie says:

apple have a gift voucher deal for black Friday. not sure if available in harrods concession

    • Charlie says:

Out of interest has anyone received the £30 credit from AMEX for this? I

      • Ali says:

I got £30 off £200 Apple spend (in store + online) on BAPP only today – must be targeted – didn’t get it on any other cards

        • HayMow says:

Thanks for the tip off – wondering if I can just buy a digital Apple gift card with it online

      • reds says:

Yes, received £30 back yesterday after a £130 online spend 3 days ago.

      • Azza83 says:

Yes. £30 credited this morning following a £103 in-store spend last Saturday.

  • Gavin says:

O/T – can anyone recommend a decent hotel in central Brighton, looking for a romantic stay for one night between xmas and new year?

    • Daniel says:

The Grand makes for a choice … Avoid the Holiday inn… If you have diamond status.. the Hilton will look after u.

    • tony says:

There’s a Hotel du Vin – never stayed in that property but am sure they will have some nice rooms.

    • Leo says:

I think I’ve stayed in every hotel known to man in Brighton due to work.
Personally I’d take the Hilton over the Grand but there’s not much between them. The Hotel du Vin is okay – not keen on the rooms actually although the public space/bar is good. If romance is key then you could do worse than stay at Drakes on the seafront. Kylie stayed there once apparently – possibly starting to push the boundary on “central”. Points wise it’s the Hilton for sure.

      • Gavin says:

Thanks all, Hilton looking like the favourite at present.

        • David says:

Try the MyHotel – something slightly different, convenient part of time and good cocktails in the bar.

          • Leo says:

It gets really busy at weekends though – and whilst it’s a nice hotel (which I have stayed in several times) it’s not really “romantic”. Also breakfast is I think limited to the coffee shop.Very central though and good for the North Laines.

  • James says:

OT: Hi Rob, following your review of the Hilton Munich City in 2014 do you know if it has had a refurb ?
Diamond status thinking of one night (2 full days) stopover.
    Cheers.

  • David says:

The Hilton Munich airport is also fab & is in walking route to airport…

  • HayMow says:

No reward credit – usually story when Hotels.com do a promo, so I never take them up on it

  • Ian says:

The Marriott sale is a bit weird as when I follow the links I get the below….so it’s more expensive to book the cyber monday deal than the advance purchase? Same on a few different hotels.

Marriott Rewards Advance Purchase Rate, prepay in full, non-refundable if cancelled more than 1 day after booking, no changes, see Rate details
