    Terence

    • Rob says:

Seats are definitely there in May, eg 8 to 22nd as I posted elsewhere.

3rd to 16th March is available (FRA to SYD).

5th to 17 January is available (FRA to SYD), as is 5-22 January.

It only took me a couple of minutes to find these examples.

  • Jan says:

I can’t find any of these fares. There seems to be only standard business class available. I checked most of January and February from all three departure cities to both Sydney and Melbourne.

    • Rob says:

Wide open later on, eg 8 to 22 May. See my other reply for a few dates in January I found very easily.

    • James A says:

Make sure you are searching on airchina.de, NOT the English site.

  • Alex W says:

There are some great fares to Aus from Cairo on Qatar. Unfortunately Mrs W has vetoed flying into Cairo.

I have one of these Air China FRA-SYD via PEK booked for June 2017. Any idea where to park the mile? I’m BA gold/OW Emerald. Fly a mix of Y and C. Looking to gain status in Star Alliance. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

    • Rob says:

You need to find the exact sub-booking class, then try wheretocredit.com for somewhere that gives a high multiple. Aegean generally the easiest Star programme to get status but you need 4 Aegean flights.

      • Herge says:

Wonderful, thanks for the response. I will look into wheretocredit.com.
