  I tried to book Aurigny from Bristol to the Channel Islands and couldn’t find a single available date. Ferries are a rip off, like 400 quid for a car with 2 people. Looks like the cheapest option again this year is to fly LHR to Paris and use my “free” Avis weekend voucher to drive to Caen.

    Aurigny have taken lots of availability out of their systems.
    There was nothing from east mids from Feb/mar when I looked. Flybe routes had good availability though 🙂

  OT but I received an invite to apply for the Creation IHG credit cards with double sign up bonus of 40000 and 20000 for the premium and regular cards. Presumably targeted due to the demise of the barclaycard.

    Targeted but not too sure how. I got the invite but already hold Creation black but never had the IHG Barclaycard

      I never got any such invite – have held the IHG Premium Barclaycard for some time and successfully applied for the Creation Premium IHG a couple of weeks ago.

  OT – AMEX PRGC

  Never received email from Amex about adding supplementary card and get 3000 MR points but while logging into AMEX online account, I can see the same offer.
  Others may want to check if you are thinking about getting supplementary card.
