  • Roger says:

Rob, any idea when is Amex pulling out of licencing agreement from likes of MBNA, Barclays, Lloyds?

As a data point for my Barclaycard AMEX it is 17th July.

    • Roger says:

      Mine says 17th July.
Must be something tied up with statement date

      • Londonbus says:

Mine says 12 July which I think is the date after the statement.

    • Jon says:

Does this mean that the Lloyds Avios card will be coming to an end or will I only be able to use the MasterCard after a certain date? I hadn’t heard about this, has HfP covered this before?

      • Rob says:

Amex has pulled of its licensing agreements, I have written about this before. It is just a case of existing contracts expiring. There will be no MBNA, Lloyds, Barclays or TSB Amex cards going forward.

22nd May – Virgin 6000 miles on ISA deal ends – 23rd May being the date to diarise 🙂

    • Marcus says:

You speculate they will have a better offer?

What is peoples experience of closing and opening a further S&S ISA with Virgin.

Will you always get the bonus again, if it is a new financial year?

      • Daniel says:

I open and close one each year…. Ez miles…

      • Jonathan says:

I’ve never closed the isa, I just cancel the monthly DD after 6 months and then reapply the next financial year which essentially just restarts the payments. Got the bonus miles about 5 years running.
