Head for Points and a few other websites have teamed up with Virgin Atlantic to offer their readers a £50 gift card for every flight booking of £1200 or more by 9th July.

This offer happily coincides with the current Virgin Atlantic economy fare sale, of which more below.

  • Doug M says:

I always find Virgin offers underwhelming.

  • Joseph says:

Bit OT but does anyone have any suggestions as to the easiest way to earn 25 Virgin tier points? I travel a few times a year to the US and tend to do a mix of BA and Virgin. With the Virgin Flying Club changes last year I was resigned to losing my silver status (especially since points would no longer be earned on Virgin America) but discovered unexpectedly that after an LA return flight next month I will in fact be only 25 points short. Am I right in saying there are no domestic (UK) earning options?
Unfortunately I have already booked my quota of US flights for the rest of the year already in the sales. I need to qualify by early August and most US flights are quite pricey then.

  • Joe says:

No regular BA sale this month? (usually one in June each year, in 2016 it began on 16th June)

  • Alex says:

it’s cute that they think £400 to New York is a “sale”

  • Ah says:

aww was hoping for a rewards sale, rather than cash 🙁

  • Dave says:

I tried to book flights with Virgin and they wouldn’t accept. Spending GBP 1800. Don’t recognise HFP.
