Comments

  1. re Economist
It has often taken a long time to get the Avios for an Economist subscription through Iberia.
This year I did it through the Avios.com site and the points arrived in less than a week; before the first newspaper. I believe that it is also possible through BAEC.

  2. Thanks for the reminders. I’ve just transferred some old Hilton and Best Western points to BAEC. Not sure what the relative values are, or were, but they were never going to do me any good where they were.

Still no sign of any Ruling Luggage avios from an order on 11 September, despite several assurances they would arrive, and one last week saying they had been ‘charged’ to my account.

  3. Think I mentioned above that I have ‘chased’ – hence the comments about assurances and latest email last week saying that it had been done. Still nothing in my account however, so more chasing to be done I feel.
