Aer Lingus and Gold Circle Club
AerClub is the new frequent flyer programme for Aer Lingus, launching in 2016. As a member of the oneworld alliance, you can use your British Airways Avios points for Aer Lingus flights. Because Aer Lingus does not add fuel surcharges, these flights are exceptionally good value.
Our main article explaining how to use your Avios points on Aer Lingus is here. Our introductory article on AerClub is here.
This other article today looks at the new Aer Lingus AerClub programme in more detail. As this scheme is now Avios driven, it helps to be aware of any new ways to earn or spend points that it throws up. I wanted to run this feature as […]
Aer Lingus AerClub finally launched last week. This is important news for Head for Points readers because Avios is the currency of AerClub. Any Avios points you earn in AerClub will (eventually) be transferrable across to British Airways Executive Club or avios.com via ‘Combine My Avios’. […]
I ran an extra article on HFP yesterday – which you won’t have seen if you are an email subscriber – to highlight the fact that the Aer Lingus Aer Club programme had launched. This article is an expanded version of that piece. At the […]

News in brief: Tesco trialling a 12,000 Avios sign-up bonus for the Tesco Premium Credit Card I was unexcited in my review of the Tesco Premium Credit Card when it launched a couple of months ago. Whilst the benefits package could work for some people, most […]
News in brief: Dublin Airport opens a new US preclearance lounge One benefit of booking an Avios redemption to the United States on Aer Lingus is the incredibly low taxes. These are usually around £75 return in Business Class, compared to £500 on British Airways – […]
