Some old bonus Tesco Clubcard points deals which are still running

Links on Head for Points may support the site by paying a commission.  See here for all partner links.

There is a tendency, both on Head for Points and elsewhere, to focus on the new ‘deal of the day’ whilst forgetting older deals which still work.  That is why I run quite a few ‘last chance’ posts, to remind people of deals which are finally about to go away.

These Tesco promotions all earn bonus Clubcard points.  I have discussed them all on the site over the last 4 months, but you may well have missed them at the time or didn’t find the offer suitable at that point.

Tesco Wine Select – 750 Clubcard points for joining.  Link here, article here.

Tesco Online Photo Centre – 150 Clubcard points for joining.  Link here, article here.

Earn points when you take gas and electricity from e.on.  Article here.

150 Clubcard points when you spend £50 on gift cards instore.  Link here, article here.

There is also this deal:

Up to 12,000 Clubcard points with ‘pay monthly’ phone contracts.  Link here, article here.

However, whilst the link still works, I cannot navigate to these deals from the Tesco Phone Shop homepage.  It is not totally clear if they are still available and you should ring to check before ordering.

  • James says:

There is currently a link for 8k points on blackberry curve at clubcard mobile page for £15 month so perhaps mobile deals are still active.

    • Susan says:

8k deal not available even though it’s still on the Clubcard website. I’ve just spoken to Tesco phone who basically said, not our fault gov.

  • Graham Luke says:

Dead right. I ordered two CD’s on two orders, 100 points each time.

  • Toby Walsh says:

Another good deal is 250 Extra Points when you buy Gillette Shaving products online. You have to buy two products for the 250 points, so £4 for 250 points is not bad at all. Double it up with a double points coupon and you’ll be laughing!

    • James says:

Be careful as the double points coupon will probably only double the base spend and not the 250 bonus, so you’d get 258 points for £4 rather than 508 (but still not bad!)

      • Simon says:

Seems like you only get the bonus points if you order blades and the gel or cream. Tesco online shows you get the bonus points when you add 2 gels but from reports I’ve read when the delivery comes there are no bonus points.

  • Simon says:

If you are in your first year of an AMEX Gold Card buying gift card’s at Tesco instead of spending the money directly at the store also should get you double MR points as well.

To my surprise B&Q don’t take AMEX but luckily Tesco who do sell their gift cards!
