Win Avios with a new British Airways Facebook promotion

British Airways has launched a new ‘fruit machine’ promotion via Facebook, which allows you to win a few Avios points.

The Facebook page is here (deleted as game now over). You will need to ‘like’ BA before you can play.

To be frank, this is a poor promotion.

British Airways is giving away a grand total of 90,000 Avios points, so they are hardly pushing the boat out. The prizes consist of 30 prizes of 1,000 Avios and one prize of 60,000 Avios.

You can enter the competition once a day until May 13th.  I won’t be bothering to play again, given the paucity of the prize and the low chance of winning even that.

Yep, pretty poor promo. 90,000 Avios in total just looks cheap and mean.

You are missing a link to the actual FB page.

Raffles, do you remember the winter (?2004) BA and Avis promotion where one played a web based toboggan game with a chance of winning 1000 Executive Club points? Those were the days of good promotions!: Game of chance… No limit to number of times you could play…. And a prize pot of 1,000,000 points! I played continually in the background whilst on a computer and took away 55,000. Always wondered who did even better than that as I’m sure many did! You?
