Maximise your Avios, air miles and hotel points

‘240 Avios for giving Tesco your insurance renewal dates’ promo returns

For the last few months, Tesco has been running a promotion offering Tesco Clubcard points if you filled in a very short form telling them when your various insurance products were up for renewal.

It was 100 points, dropped to 75 points and is now back.  It is now offering 100 Clubcard points (240 Avios, 250 Virgin Flying Club miles).

Here is the form you need to complete.

You are asked for your car, home and pet insurance renewal months.  You only need to add in one date to get your 100 points, so I recommend just doing that.  It will reduce the level of spam email Tesco sends you later on!

The deadline is 29th October.

The small print does seem to imply – albeit not very clearly – that if you have got points via this offer before then you cannot get them again.  No harm in trying with a different Clubcard if you have a few, though.

I’m guessing you can’t do it 4 times for each type of insurance?

  • Gordon says:

I did this in the past and got the points for each type of insurance so do them 1 at a time on each of your cards

  • Mr Bridge says:

one thing that i learned since joining and participating in HFP last septemeber, is to get some use out of my partner!!!!
That is before, we did things in mine name, but there are 2 of us, so we now have a CC each, this is helpful when promos like this come up, we both get the 100 points ( as did the last time),
but also when tesco do its wine promo, bonus CCps for a case of wine ( we order one each)
Incedently there is 500 bonus points running at the mo code XXP44P ( expire TODAY),not as good as the 750 points, but then there is 50% off some good wines.

    • trickster says:

I managed an order on Tuesday night with the 750 point code, although I had already banked it.

  • BritBronco says:

I still don’t have any points from doing this previously
