More £5 Tesco DVD’s with 150 Clubcard points (360 Avios)

Tesco Direct has refreshed its list of DVD pre-order deals, as you can see here.

At the time of writing, four DVD’s are offering 150 bonus Clubcard points and cost just £5.  These are Scooby Doo, Smurfy Hollow, Star Wars Lego and Thor.

There are also plenty of more interesting adult titles at higher prices, plus blu-rays which offer 200 points per disk.

Until Sunday, there is an ‘open to all’ discount code of £10 off a £75 Tesco Direct order.  The code is TDX-HF4K.

Even with the discount code, it is NOT worth buying these DVD’s just to throw them in the bin.  You would be paying over 1p per Avios.  However, if you have a few children to keep happy at Christmas, then a £5 DVD could be just the trick.

All of these titles come with free delivery when eventually released.

Your credit card will be charged immediately and the points added immediately, even though the orders are not due to be posted out for a while.

  • Will says:

Quick question. The other day I received a ‘double points’ coupon. If I preorder these and use the coupon, do you think I would get double points on the 150 bonus points for each DVD?

  • JSXOX1 says:

I was wondering the same but in the scenario following a peg full of 3V cards. Unfortunately I didnt get the voucher

    • Simon says:

The double points voucher only applies to base points not bonus points, so you’d get no extra points if your purchase was just 3V cards.

If you purchased a £5 DVD with 150 bonus points using a double points coupon you would get

5 points for the £5 purchase
      150 bonus points
5 points from the double points coupon

  • Crimsonmaj says:

    • Kipto says:

So a £15 spend for 600 club card points. Good if you actually going to buy the dvd’s anyway.
