New Debenhams and Moss Bros spending discounts for Amex customers

American Express has rolled out two new cashback offers for holders of Amex-issued Amex cards, which includes MBNA and Lloyds Bank-issued Amex cards as well as the ‘official’ ones.

The most useful is Debenhams. Once you have registered your card here, you will receive a £10 statement credit if you make a £50 purchase at Debenhams before 31st October.

Remember that it is OK to buy a Debenhams gift card for £50 if there is nothing you need immediately but can imagine buying later on. This offer is only available once per card.

The second offer is for suit company Moss Bros and its sister companies Moss and Savoy Tailors Guild. This is more generous, offering £50 back on a £200 spend, but is only available to the first 1,000 people who register. (The rules imply it is the first 1,000 to register and not the first 1,000 to register and spend.) The rules are the same as for the Debenhams offer.

You can also get £15 off £100 spend at Blacks.

More interesting is £20 off a £100 spend at D&D Restaurants. It is possible that this would double-up with the London Restaurant Week promotion, which offers £25 for 2 x £50 spends at participating restaurants.

There is also a double points offer at House of Fraser just for BA Amex cardholders – link here.
