Maximise your Avios, air miles and hotel points

Get 100 free Clubcard points (240 Avios) for 30 seconds work

Links on Head for Points may support the site by paying a commission.  See here for all partner links.

A couple of months ago, Tesco Clubcard was offering 100 points if you filled in a short form telling them when your various insurance products were up for renewal.

The promo is now back, offering 100 points (240 Avios, 250 Flying Club miles) for thirty seconds work.

You need to fill in the form here.

You are asked for your car, home and pet insurance renewal months. You only need to add in one date to get your 100 points, so I would do that – it will cut down on Tesco spam!

The deadline is 29th October.

In theory, if you’ve done this before, you won’t get the points again. No harm in trying, though.

How many Avios is the Tesco CC 1000 points worth if you were to order the £99 Apple TV ?…. The Apple TV is worth getting one if you haven’t got it. I have got one so I would have to get rid of it via a xmas present….

  • Raffles says:

2400 Avios, more with a conversion bonus

  • erico1875 says:

    Brilliant Raffles.
Each family member has their own club card (4) so thats another 1000 avios into the BA houshold account.

  • Marco says:

Ditto the previous comment – it’s a great way to top up the BA household account… very much appreciated, Raffles!

  • Douglas Gerhardt says:

Offer is available to existing Clubcard customers that add up to 3 Insurance renewal
dates on the site before 29th October 2013. One offer (including previous offers) per
customer entering details into the Renewals website and Clubcard number must also
be provided. Points will be added to a future Clubcard statement, this may not be the
next statement that you receive, and the Clubcard holder must be the policyholder.

  • CWK says:

    Done.

Just the car insurance bit though.

Doubt they’d give me a quote anyway, as a chauffeur (owner-driver), I require a policy which covers the carriage of passengers for hire & reward, which I wouldn’t think they do.

  • MBX says:

Never got the last 100 points!

  • Singing Dwarf says:

Why do you say ‘its back’ ?

The last time you posted this here (https://headforpoints.com/2013/06/06/240-avios-for-giving-tesco-your-insurance-renewal-dates-promo-returns/) the closing date was also 29th October. Why do you think this is a ‘new’ promotion?

    • Rob says:

      Oops.

      I missed that one ….

If you search further back, you’ll find my original post which is the one I was remembering.

You wouldn’t believe how difficult it is to keep track of what you’ve done. I Googled a question recently and the website that came up showing the answer was …. this one!
