Another free £10 redspottedhanky voucher TODAY – only for .ac.uk email users

Train ticket booking website redspottedhanky.com has been very lucrative this year for Head for Points readers.  Our mini-league shared over £1,100 in their Fantasy Wimbledon competition and their Fantasy Football league is on-going (as it Fantasy Formula 1) – both will generate some generous vouchers for every player.

We also had a number of £10 voucher giveaways, eg here and here.

Today, there is a new giveaway of 10,000 x £10 redspottedhanky train ticket e-vouchers.  These can be used on their site for any UK train ticket.  It will repeated for the next two Mondays, for a total of 30,000 x £10 vouchers.

This promotion is restricted to students.  Actually, that is not true – it is restricted to anyone with a .ac.uk email address.  If you kept yours after leaving University then you are in luck.

The promotion is being run by the Facebook page of Student Money Saver.

Here are the rules:.

10,000 vouchers x £10 vouchers will be released at 7pm today (14th) with another 10,000 at 7pm on the 21st and 28th October.

The £10 vouchers must be redeemed by 25th November, although you can book for a train with a later date.

Your redspottedhanky account must be set up with the same .ac.uk email address that you use to claim your voucher, so you might need to swap it over if you normally use a different one.

In theory, this should also work for any staff with ac.uk addresses too then?

The joys of being a student! I have 2 ac.uk adresses!!

Excellent, got one! Code received. Thanks again Raffles!

Hmm. The Facebook page only let you register once but the RSH page let you have three goes. Suffice it to say I’ve given it three differing (but functional) forms of my .ac.uk address and all have produced codes. We’ll see what happens

Got a £10 voucher out of them last week, changed my .ac.uk to another form today and have just applied for a new one. Will see if I get it. Fingers crossed!
