Hyatt Gold Passport is offering a special bonus for Avios collectors when you stay at one of its properties before the end of January. This covers Park Hyatt, Grand Hyatt, Andaz, Hyatt Regency, Hyatt, Hyatt House and Hyatt Place.

Full details can be found here.

Hyatt Discover Possibilities

The headline rules are:

You need to select airline miles instead of Gold Passport points as your earnings choice

You MUST enter offer code AVIO23 at the Hyatt website when you book

You must book by December 31st for stays by January 31st

Check the terms and conditions for the list of hotels offering double Avios and triple Avios. Most American properties are not taking part.

The standard Avios earnings rate is 500 points per stay, so this promotion would earn you 1,000 or 1,500 depending on property.

It is most likely to be worthwhile for one-night stays at cheaper properties. For longer, expensive stays you would probably be better off taking Hyatt Gold Passport points unless this was a one-off Hyatt stay.
