New Eurostar pre-sale – £59 return to Paris, Lille and Brussels

Links on Head for Points may support the site by paying a commission.  See here for all partner links.

Eurostar is running another public sale from January 2nd to January 14th, offering seats to Paris and Brussels for just £59 return.

However, if you use this link, you have access to the sale NOW before the general public.

Here are the terms and conditions:

You will pay £59 return to Paris, Lille, Calais or Brussels, in Economy.

You can depart from St Pancras, Ebbsfleet or Ashford

You must travel from 20th January to 3rd April

Black-out dates are 31 January to 2 February 2014, 14 to 24 February 2014, 28 February to 2 March 2014 inclusive, 7 to 9 March 2014 inclusive

A £4 credit card charge will apply

There are 10,000 pairs to tickets available at these prices during the pre-sale period, and some peak services are not available.

Compared to recent Eurostar sales, availability – especially at weekends – looks a bit sparse.   However, if you can be flexible then £59 is obviously a great deal.

Remember that if you have an American Express Platinum card you can use Eurostar lounges just by flashing the card.  However, you cannot bring in a guest, so your companion would need to be your supplementary Platinum cardholder.

How to get Club Eurostar points and lounge access from UK credit cards (April 2024)

Club Eurostar does not have a UK credit card.  However, you can earn Club Eurostar points by converting Membership Rewards points earned from selected UK American Express cards

Cards earning Membership Rewards points include:

Membership Rewards points convert at 15:1 into Club Eurostar points.  The cards above all earn 1 Membership Rewards point per £1 spent on your card, so you will get the equivalent of 1 Club Eurostar point for every £15 you spend.

American Express Platinum comes with a great Eurostar benefit – Eurostar lounge access!

You can enter any Eurostar lounge, irrespective of your ticket type, simply by showing The Platinum Card at the desk.  No guests are allowed but you can get entry for your partner by issuing them with a free supplementary Amex Platinum card on your account.

I did this trip in the last sale – was excellent value. Also nice having lounge access both ends with the Amex Plat and had an excellent stay (with upgrade to a suite as a CC Gold) at the Radisson Le Dokhan Paris 🙂

I think the No 1 Traveller Lounge promo is all gone, the link to Travel Zoo isn’t working and a few people on UK Hot deals are stating they can’t buy anymore passes

  • Worzel says:

    Sorry this OT.

However, I just wanted to wish Raffles and all HFPters a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

    Worz.

Note there’s no lounge at Ashford International, so Amex Plat’s have to slum it with the rest of the trashford crowd.

  • squills says:
