Claim another £9.50 redspottedhanky train ticket voucher

Over the weekend, I posted about the £9.50 redspottedhanky.com train ticket voucher promotion running on Sun+, the paid-for website for The Sun.

It has been running a separate promotion in the newspaper itself this week, with an additional 30,000 x £9.50 vouchers to give away.  These are valid for tickets booked before April 21st, although you can book for up to 12 weeks further out.

Heathrow Express tickets can be booked via RSH if you are looking for a possible use for them.

It has been publishing five codes over the last five days, with the last one appearing today.  You can now claim your voucher!

This is what you do:

Go to https://www.media-promotions2.com/rshfeb2014/ (I have NOT made this a link as I do not want them to see a spike in traffic from Head for Points)

Enter the following codes, plus your personal details (the email should match your redspottedhanky account)

Saturday – TR3DGQ
Sunday – NJ681D
Monday – PNJ98N
Tuesday – AF27GE
Wednesday – BSG2KJ

Your £9.50 validation code will appear on screen.  It will also be emailed to you.

Log in to your account at redspottedhanky.com – or create a new one – and go to ‘Personal Details’.  Enter your validation code in the bottom box and click ‘Update’.

Nothing will seem to happen.  However, in a few days a £9.50 voucher will appear on your redspottedhanky.com account.

As a marker, the £9.50 code I claimed on Friday via the Sun+ deal appeared online on my account last night.

I can’t see why you can’t double-dip with the Sun+ offer.

The offer only lasts until 30,000 codes have been claimed, and given that The Sun sells 2.3 million copies per day, this won’t last long.

    this for Sun+ subscribers right?

  • squills says:

    Thanks.

In IE11 you can press ‘back’ once, change the email address (& name) and get another code sent.

It wouldn’t do that twice though.

I always do the first one in my normal Chrome and then the second in IE InPrivate just to be sure there are no cookies tracking me. Safety first!

      • Trevor says:

If you use Chrome, then use the Incognito window – much easier, and what I did.

  • squills says:

Actually it sent me different codes to the same email address when I used different browsers 😉

    • Bialynia says:

Yeah, that’s not going to work. They’ll only give you a voucher for one of the codes.

  • olybeast says:

Ok done it. Thanks raffles! Now what to spend 19 on? 🙂

  • Frenske says:

A preliminary thanks. I always thought Sun readers usually drive in a white van and don’t take trains.

I know it is a bad joke! 😀

  • Trevor says:

Thanks Raffles, got vouchers posted to me and OH accounts yesterday, and hopefully will get these posted in another 5 days 😀

  • Andy says:

Did this 3 times with different accounts. Used 3 different browsers, 3 different email addresses and 2 different addresses. The next page Addressed me by the name I had given and gave me the same code 3 times!!.
Added them to my details just see if they work now.

    • Francois says:

I am really happy you managed to cheat the system and scope up the vouchers before other HFP-readers can get their hands on them.

      *sarcasm alert*

      • Rob says:

He doesn’t mean that. He means 3 codes from 3 different promotions. (I think!)

  • guesswho2000 says:

Thanks Raffles, job done! God knows how RSH manage to stay in business, every ticket I’ve had from them has had £10-£30 off it!
