    This came up yesterday. Apparently NI gambling legislation seems to (accidentally or not) make most competitions illegal as well.

      We are so backward. Pubs close at 1am and 10pm at Easter/Christmas, no football on Sundays, outdated gambling laws. It’s the result of being governed by religious fanatics.       As far I understand in Northern Ireland, price competitions require a show of skills otherwise the competition would be simply a lottery and different rules will apply. In this case the skill is guessing the right answer. Even though the question is extremely easy, it requires a skill. I guess the NI legislation is so complex that businesses rather just exclude it from the competition.

  Pretty poor prize considering you have to pay for your own accommodation!

  And clause 14 really makes me encouraged to go to Dubai. Not!
