Get 40% off plus free breakfast in the Accor July-August sale (book by Friday)

Three weeks ago I wrote about Accor’s ‘40% off UK bookings’ sale, which offered some good deals for Novotel, Pullman, Sofitel, Mercure, M Gallery and Ibis hotels.

What I missed is that, a few days later, Accor broadened this out to a worldwide sale.

Via this site, Accor is offering discounts of up to 40% at 3,200 properties globally.  You will also receive free breakfast at most brands.  You will need to join Le Club Accorhotels to get these rates but that can be done easily, for free, via the link on that page.

Rooms must be booked by roughly 4pm on Friday – there is a countdown clock on the site.  It is valid for stays from 11 July to 31 August.  The small print says that rooms are also available beyond 31 August in some countries so it is worth having a poke around to see what is available.

‘free’ breakfast you say? ASA will be after you 😉

  • Chris says:

Thanks for the reminder about this one Raffles.

I had forgot all about this and was about to shell out £118 per night for the HIX in Inverness next month and remembered there was a Mercure. Managed to get the two nights for £114!

Really wanted to try the Pentahotel but it is full everytime I head north. Do you know anything about Penta? I couldn’t find much information about them online, apparently it’s a new and upcoming chain

    • CV says:

Ive stayed in HIX Inverness and the Mercure, the Mercure looks ugly from outside but the rooms are very nice (upgraded for free via Accor Platinum) and the pool was quiet, although very warm. I think there was a £2 parking fee!

      • Chris says:

Yeah, I’ve stayed in most of the bigger hotels in Inverness as its part of the area I cover with work so up there every couple of months.

I normally stay at the HIX through laziness more than anything as it’s right next to the main road and normally I’m straight back home in the morning.

Hotel prices in Inverness between March and October are a disgrace and there is not one standout property among them.

The Ramada changed to Penta a few months back and everytime I’m up there it’s full. I quite like the idea of checking in over a cocktail tbh

Weekend in Melbourne booked – thx raffles

Booked the Novotel Colmar for £57 per night for 3 of us. Only thing I noticed on the confirmation is that breakfast is for 2. Expecting they may ask me to pay for our sons breakfast

    • Rob says:

Hilton Gold has the same rules – I am intrigued as to what my 2 kids will have to pay on a stay in 2 weeks.

‘I am intrigued as to what my 2 kids will have to pay on a stay in 2 weeks’

You making them pay for their own breakfast? Harsh!

        • Rob says:

          They’ve got to learn sometime!

When my daughters first tooth fell out my wife bought it off her for £2 instead of letting her leave it for the tooth fairy (for whatever reward the tooth fairy would have left) as my wife wanted to keep it to show other people!

  • Alastair says:

Thanks for the tip off. Booked this morning for 3 nights in a Toulouse Novotel – 40% off and free breakfast is a good saving, so glad I didn’t miss it.
