Sofitel Heathrow hotel still available for £88 via lastminute.com

Back in March, I highlighted how the Sofitel at Heathrow Terminal 5 – directly connected to the terminal, and by far the best hotel at Heathrow – was being sold very cheaply by lastminute.com on its ‘Top Secret’ list of unnamed London hotels.  I repeated the article in May because the offer was still running.

Two months later, it is STILL there.  The Sofitel still has availability, mainly on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. The price is £98.  Use the promotional code ‘trialtopsecret’ (lower case) and it drops another 10% to £88.

Sofitel Heathrow Accor

The link to access the deal is here.

In theory, the hotel name is meant to be secret. You are looking for the property marked “Elegance and comfort easy access to the airport”.

It is the Sofitel at Heathrow. Plenty of people have already booked it and discovered it was the Sofitel.  In any event, you can prove it.  Once you have selected a date, it will show you a star rating for the hotel ‘based on 4,143 Tripadvisor reviews’.   This is exactly the amount received by the Sofitel.

This is a very decent discount. On August 1st, a day I picked a random, the cheapest rate on the Sofitel site is £135 vs £88 via this link.

When you remember that taking the dedicated Hotel Hoppa bus to any other hotel at Heathrow will cost £5 per person each way, and that no other hotel at Heathrow is anywhere near as nice, it is a no-brainer if you are flying out of Terminal 5.

How much is parking at the hotel for 7 nights?

    • Worzel says:

Having done hours of research on this, the link below maybe of use:

      http://www.holidayextras.co.uk/airport-hotels/heathrow/sofitel/parking.html

      • SurbhiM says:

Can you add parking for a holiday later to the booking? Or directly with the hotel? Holidayextras is obviously at full price.

        • M says:

Another example of pure laziness… Ring the hotel and ask?

          • Surbhi says:

I was just wondering if someone had already done it online at an online rate or something! And if it’s possible with a secret listing in retrospect.? Can hardly ring the hotel if according to them it’s supposed to be secret listing. I know you can pay at the hotel’s rate when you check in but they do cheaper online parking rates with some hotels.

          • Jason says:

I think what m is referring to, is once you have booked it, give the hotel a call.
It isn’t a secret once you’ve paid for it!!!!

        • Waribai says:

Yes, you can. Well you can at the Gatwick one anyway….

  • Paul says:

Don’t thin £88 is right. I can’t find anything less than £98. ( still a goo deal ) and these rates only at weekends. If wrong can someone provide a better link as need room in August ( currently have redemption at other hotel)

You’ve missed the part about the promotional code!

    • oyster says:

Raffles has mentioned above how it comes down to £88 from the headline price of £98.

  • rich says:

Just booked – thanks Raffles as always 🙂

Tip: Hotel Tonight can offer the Radisson Blu LHR for as low as £46. You can get £15 sign up credit, meaning I paid only £31 for a Sunday Night stay last month.

the trialtopsecret promo code no longer seems to work, website states it has expired
